Charles C. "Buddy" Smith, Jr.
CEO
Charles C. Smith, Jr. is a visionary entrepreneur, as well as an innovative business strategist
and the CEO of Delta Advisory Group, Inc., a federally registered investment advisory firm.
During his extensive career, Buddy has been a principle in commercial real estate projects in
excess of $200 million and has participated in the management of market equities monies of a similar
amount. Additionally, Buddy has served on a Jacksonville, FL bank board and has been named to Who’s
Who in American Business.
Buddy graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1973 and engaged in postgraduate studies
at L’Abri Fellowship in Huemoz, Switzerland. His professional versatility and experience give him
a unique perspective into investment opportunities and he has personally guided thousands of individual
clients on achieving their financial goals.
Sean D. Casterline CFA, MBA
President
Sean D. Casterline is the President and Chief Investment Officer for Delta Advisory Group, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor located in Orlando, Florida.
Mr. Casterline began his career with Delta First Financial as an asset manager. During his time at Delta,
he progressed thru the company to eventually land as the Senior Portfolio Manager with the firm. In 1998,
he left for an opportunity to work with Wealth Management Financial Group as their Senior Portfolio
Manager. While there, Mr. Casterline invested client assets totaling over $165 million and co-hosted
a syndicated financial radio show called Talking About your Investments. The show was broadcast in 85
cities nationwide for four hours a day and was heard in such cities as New York, San Francisco and
Dallas. At this time, Mr. Casterline appeared regularly as an investment expert on the NBC affiliate
in Tampa and the FOX affiliate in Orlando. He also had many speaking engagements at investment
conferences across the country.
Mr. Casterline has also been published in several trade magazines/websites
and is currently writing a book on international investing. He has recently represented Delta First Financial
at a national trade conference speaking to an audience of eleven hundred investors alongside such notables as
Zig Zigler and Bob Dole.
Mr. Casterline has been awarded a five star quality rating by Paladin Registry (include URL) after a
comprehensive review of his credentials, ethics, business practices, and financial services. Only 7% of
the advisors in the financial services industry achieve the Registry's highest quality rating.
Mr. Casterline earned both his Bachelors Degree in Finance and Masters Degree in Business Administration
from the University of Florida. He also has the distinction of being a CFA Charter holder and is an
Arbitrator for the NASD. Currently he holds many securities licenses including, Series 7 – General
Securities Rep, Series 63 – State Securities, Series 65 – National RIA, Series 4 – Options Principal
and a Series 24 – General Securities Principal as well as Life, Health and Variable Annuity License.
Mr. Casterline is also an active member in the University of Florida Alumni Association, Florida Citrus
Sports and acts as a Director for the CFA Society of Orlando. He has also been involved with other
charitable organizations such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of
Gainesville and Habitat for Humanity.
Mr. Casterline met his wife Amy in 1992 and the couple has been married for twelve years. After
graduating from the University of Florida, Mrs. Casterline spent eight years as a field sales
representative – most recently as a District Sales Manager in the legal publishing industry. In
2001 Mrs. Casterline chose to give up her career when the couple decided to become full time foster
parents. They were licensed through the Children’s Home Society in 2002 and are now proud adoptive
parents of two wonderful boys, Jonathan who is eight years old and his younger brother Beau who is
seven. Sean and Amy grew up in Seminole county where their family now resides only a few miles from
their childhood homes.
Donald C. Nestor CPA, CFP

Senior Financial Planner
Donald C. Nestor is the Senior Financial Planner for Delta Advisory Group. With over 30
years of experience as a professional in the financial services industry, Don is certified as a
public accountant (CPA) and financial planner (CFP) and is a graduate of West Virginia University.
Specializing in retirement planning and asset management, he was the co-host of the financial radio talk
show “Money Matters” and has also appeared as a frequent guest on CBS and NBC television affiliates.
Having served with distinction in the United States Army, Don is a proud military veteran. He currently
serves as chief sponsor of the Orlando Support Group for the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America,
which is a national volunteer health agency dedicated to fighting the neuromuscular disorder. Mr. Nestor
& his wife Peg, a registered nurse, have five children and ten grandchildren.
Myra Nicholson Esq.
Senior Vice President
Myra Nicholson, Esq. is a Senior Vice President of Delta Advisory Group, Inc. and a 20 year veteran of the
securities industry.
Myra, a graduate of Western Kentucky University, received her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University
College of Law. She began her career as an associate attorney in the Tallahassee, Florida offices of Akerman
Seterfitt, where she specialized in legal matters pertaining to securities, banking and insurance. Subsequent
to her work in private legal practice, she was corporate counsel for two Florida based national insurance
companies.
Additionally, Myra served for many years in various legal and compliance capacities for Invest Financial Corporation, a national broker/dealer and investment advisor. While with Invest Financial she was appointed as First Senior Vice President for Representative Services and General Counsel.
Myra is a member of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
Roy F. Miranda, M.A.
Senior Advisor
Roy F. Miranda is a Senior Advisor of Delta Advisory Group, Inc. Over the last twenty years
Roy has served as a financial advisor to the medical community, including his position as Chief
Financial Officer for a large radiology center. Roy’s affinity for the medical community along
with his vast experience makes him keenly aware of the plight of the physician business owner.
Roy assists physician and non-physician business owners, investors and individuals in the areas
of business continuation and retirement planning.
Roy a graduate of Florida State University, received his Masters Degree from Webster University.
John C. Wagner, Ph.D., CCIM
Senior Advisor
John C. Wagner is a Senior Advisor of Delta Advisory Group, Inc. John is a native of Louisville, Kentucky and a
longtime resident of Central Florida. John received his undergrad and master’s degree from the
University of Kentucky and his Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. Being
engaged in the real estate investment arena for more than 30 years, John is widely recognized as a
leading expert in the industry. Earning the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM)
designation in 1987, he has been professionally active in such diverse areas as development, commercial
investments, syndication, site selection, asset management, consulting, and training.
John is a nationally known real estate instructor who has spoken on moneymaking trends to more than
250,000 people nationwide. He spends substantial time studying and writing about trends in the investment
markets and has been quoted as an expert on emerging trends in The Wall Street Journal, The New York
Times, USA Today, and numer¬ous Florida publications.
Gary M. Ralston, CCIM, SIOR, SRS, CPM, CRE, SCLS
Real Estate Advisor
Gary M. Ralston, is the President and Founder of Florida Retail Development, LLC, a retail real estate
research and development company and the President and Principal of Ralston Realty, Inc., a real estate
consulting form. He is also a Managing Director of UDC Retail, the operating partner of the $1 billion
UDC/SNS PF Retail Development Fund.
From the early 1990’s to mid-2004 Gary was the president and a member of the board of directors of
Commercial Net Lease Realty, Inc. (NYSE:NNN) the industry leader in single-tenant corporate net-leased
real estate. During that time he guided the company's growth from less than $15 million in real estate
assets to nearly $1.5 billion.
Gary holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Society of Industrial and Office
Realtors (SIOR), Specialist in Real Estate Securities (SRS), Certified Property Manager (CPM),
Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) and Senior Certified Leasing Specialist (SCLS) designations and is
also a Florida licensed real estate broker, mortgage broker and certified building contractor.
Gary is a senior instructor for the CCIM Institute and a former member of the board of Directors. He is a
full member of the prestigious Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a former Vice Chairman of the Small Scale
Development Council. Gary is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and an
instructor for the ICSC University of Shopping Centers at Wharton.
He holds a Masters in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver, serves on the
Burns Counselor Board of the Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at the
University of Denver and in 2007 was named an adjunct faculty member. Gary also serves on the Executive
Advisory Board of the Center for Retailing Education and Research at the University of Florida. Gary was
inducted as a Hoyt Fellow in 2001.
Lisa K. Ianacone
Operations Manager
Lisa K. Ianacone is both the receptionist and administrative assistant for the Delta Companies. She
applies her customer service and administrative skills and oversees the day-to-day activities at the
firm. She is the first friendly face the first friendly voice that you will encounter when calling or
coming to Delta. She enjoys the variety associated with the administrative assistant position and
particularly enjoys greeting clients and using her organizational skills daily in her administrative
support. She has brought administrative and office skills to Delta for fourteen years. Lisa and her
husband, Gary, are long time residences of the Orlando area. They have two grown sons and both enjoy
antique shopping and cooking. Lisa also enjoys reading, gardening, knitting and playing with her two
dogs Winston and Brinkley.
